Mr Moledina is a Consultant Hand and Plastic Surgeon who is dedicated to the full range of both adult and paediatric hand and wrist surgery. His special interests include
- Complex adult and paediatric hand and wrist trauma
- Microvascular reconstruction
- Hand and wrist fractures
- Minimal access techniques
- Rheumatoid and Osteoarthritis
- Peripheral nerve compression and injuries including nerve transfers
- Tendon injuries, reconstruction and transfers
- Dupuytren’s disease
- Congenital differences of the hand and foot
- Neuromuscular conditions including cerebral palsy
Professional profile
Mr Moledina graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine, London in 2002 before starting his surgical training in the West Midlands. He began his Plastic Surgery specialty training in 2006, spending time in prestigious units including Selly Oak Hospital, Birmingham where he looked after military casualties from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan at the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine.
Returning to London, he worked at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead and St George’s Hospital and attained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2011. He completed specialist hand fellowships at the internationally renowned Pulvertaft Hand Centre and Great Ormond Street Hospital and successfully completed the European Hand Diploma before taking up a Consultant post at St George’s Hospital in 2016.
