Professional profile
Mr Tennent qualified in 1992 from St Bartholomew's Hospital, and trained at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. He also undertook a fellowship in Virginia, USA, and was appointed a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at St George's in 2003. In addition, he is an Honorary Reader in Orthopaedics at St George's University of London & Director of Medical Education at the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC).
Mr Tennent’s career highlights have included obtaining a patent for the tightrope acromioclavicular joint stabilisation technique, and writing the Atlas of Arthroscopic Techniques as well as over 30 book chapters and multiple publications.
