Dr Victoria Akhras

Dr Victoria Akhras MBBS (Hons), BSc (Hons), MRCP is a specialist in Dermatology. She graduated from Imperial College with honours in 2000. Dr Akhras has completed an MD on lymphatic function in melanoma in 2007 at St George’s Medical School. She has a special interest in skin cancer and connective tissue diseases affecting the skin. She carries out general dermatology clinics, skin cancer screening clinics, melanoma clinics and combined clinics with plastic surgery and radio-oncology colleagues for the treatment of complex skin cancers, as well as combined clinics with rheumatology for patients with connective tissue diseases. Dr Akhras works closely with geneticists at St George’s Hospital on the 100,000 Genomes project. She is the lead for melanoma in the dermatology department and the Clinical Lead for dermatology at St George’s Hospital.
