Dr Theodora Vatopoulou

Dr Vatopoulou has joined as a Consultant Haematologist at St George’s Hospital in 2018. She graduated from Leicester Warwick Medical School (MBChB) in 2007, having also obtained a BSc in Genetics from Cardiff University in 2003.
She looks after patients with myeloma, acute and chronic myeloid and lymphoid malignancies.
She has a particular interest in the laboratory diagnosis of haematological malignancies.
Her specialist training was on the South East London rotation (King’s College Hospital rotation) and obtained her CCST in Haematology in 2018.
She obtained her membership with the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2010 and her fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologits (FRCPath) in 2018. She is also a member of the British Society of Haematology, the European Society of Haematology and Myeloma UK.
