Dr Rosalind Given-Wilson

Dr Given-Wilson is a consultant specialising in breast imaging and screening, and paediatric imaging.
Professional profile
Dr Given-Wilson received and MA from Cambridge University in 1977 before graduating with an MBBS from St Thomas' Hospital in 1980. She then underwent radiology training at King's College, London from 1983 to 1989, when she was then appointed to St George's Hospital as a consultant radiologist to set up the Breast Screening Unit.
Since then she has held the roles of director of breast screening, director of radiology, clinical director of diagnostics and since 2007 medical director. She also works in the capacity of director of St George's National Breast Screening Training Centre.
