    Clinical interests

    Dr Round divides his times between working as a clinician in paediatric intensive care at St George’s, his cardiology work and his role as Director of Medical Education for the hospital, overseeing the planning and delivery of training and education in every department.

    Professional profile

    Dr Round is also course director for paediatrics at St George's University of London, and has developed an interest in developing courses based around students' needs and using cutting-edge technologies such as e-assessment, and social media in education. He is a South London Trainee Programme Director on behalf of Health Education England.

    In addition to the development of several web based courses, video resources and podcasts, he has been central to the development of virtual patients as a mature resource for teaching and assessment.
