Graduated from Kings College London in 1994. Extensive clinical medical training in the UK and Australia. Registrar training in Infectious Diseases and General Internal medicine in London with one year at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases. PhD completed on the immune response to oral BCG in 2005. Co-ordinating and Principal Investigator on multiple clinical trials including phase one. Adult lead for the vaccine Institute at St Georges University of London www.vaccine.ac.uk. Dr Cosgrove is also an acute medicine physician covering acute general medical admissions, acute medical clinics and Richmond ward.
