Consultant Urologist & Robotic Surgeon

Mr Sri was appointed Consultant Urologist at St George’s University Hospital in October 2021, subspecialising in robotic kidney and prostate cancer surgery. Since October 2024, he has taken on sessions at Kingston Hospital NHS Trust, further extending the robotic urology programme across the Southwest London network. He subspecialises in nerve sparing radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer and retroperitoneal nephron sparing surgery for kidney cancer.

He currently leads the kidney cancer service within the Southwest London referral network. At St George’s Hospital he is the Cancer Lead for Urology, RCS Robotic Fellowship Lead, Robotic Steering Group Lead for the trust and the Urological Trauma Lead. He leads the Urological Robotic programme at Kingston Hospital.

Mr Sri graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2011 with Double First Class Honours and Distinction. His higher specialist training in Southwest London included fellowships in robotic uro-oncology and reconstruction at St George’s Hospital and a post-CCT fellowship at Frimley Park Hospital. He performs approximately 250 robotic procedures annually within prostate cancer, kidney cancer and reconstructive urology.

He has published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Robotic Surgery and the Journal of Urology on topics encompassing kidney cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and robotic reconstruction. He serves as Principal Investigator for the ELLIPSE, PARTIAL and VISP randomised controlled trials at St George’s. He is committed to surgical education at local and national levels, leading the RCS-accredited robotic surgical fellowship at St George’s and serving as faculty member and speaker at national courses including the FRCS Urology examination course.
