Managing your appointment using the My Care Patient Portal

We appreciate that many people have been waiting a long time to receive the treatment they need, and we are working to book patients back in as quickly as possible.

Example text message from My Care

We are working with one of our digital solutions providers, Zesty to send text messages to most people who are currently on our waiting list for surgery and First Outpatient Appointment, asking them to let us know if they still need to have an operation at St George’s University Hospital’s Trust.

Please look out for a text from us

We will start this trial by sending text messages to people on the waiting list.

If you do receive this text message from St Georges, please do not ignore it – your response will be crucially important to help us manage our waiting list.

Depending on your response, you will either remain on our waiting list or we will be in touch with you again in the coming weeks with information on next steps.

Please note that any comments attached to your response will only be used to manage our waiting lists and therefore, may not be reviewed by a clinician.
