On Monday 9 August, we held our annual Student Nurse Awards. The event is part of St George’s continuing commitment to support pre-registration nursing students, including trainee nurse associates.

The awards are to recognise and celebrate nurses who have demonstrated our Trust Values and inspired us over the last year.

Sharon Suggett, Head of Nursing for Workforce and Professional Standards at St George’s said: “This event is so important to highlight the great work our student nurses have contributed to patient care, especially during the pandemic.

“There have been some truly inspiring nominations from across the Trust and I would personally like to say a huge thank you to all our student nurses who have worked so diligently as part of our teams. A big congratulations to both the nominees and our three winners!”
