Tooting MP, Sadiq Khan is inviting residents to a community coffee morning that will bring together more than twenty local and national health and well-being organisations in one place.

The free event will take place on Friday 24th October, from 10:00am to 1pm at Mushkil Aasaan Community Centre, 220-222 Upper Tooting Road, London, SW17 7EW.

Sadiq will be joined by our chief executive, Miles Scott and healthcare professionals to discuss bone health, blood transfusions, sickle cell, thalassaemia and therapy services we offer at St George’s.

Mayor of Wandsworth, Stuart Thom and Wandsworth Borough Commander Chief Supt Intendant Richard Smith will also be there to welcome local residents.

Sadiq Khan MP said:

“Whether you live in Tooting, Balham, Furzedown or Earlsfield, you are welcome to come along to what I am sure will be an informative and positive event.

“My coffee morning has now become an annual event, and every year local residents tell me how useful they have found it – whether it is picking up tips on how to keep their house safe, stepping aboard the Healthy Living Bus for a free health check, or speaking to local councillors about the support they can provide. I look forward to seeing you there.”

If you would like to come along, or have any questions regarding the event, please contact Sadiq’s office on 0207 219 5820 or email sadiqkhanmp@parliament.uk
