Health Secretary receives vaccinations at St George’s
We recently welcomed the new Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Rt Hon Steve Barclay MP to St George’s for his flu and Covid vaccinations.
He praised the professionalism of our team and also took the opportunity to encourage anyone who is eligible to get vaccinated to keep safe this winter.
He spoke with staff from different roles and service areas to hear their views on where the challenges lie, as well as the things that we do well at St George’s.
Jacqueline Totterdell, Group Chief Executive, who has spoken about her experience of nearly dying from flu, also talked with him about our key priorities and challenges as a hospital group.
