Congratulations to our teams shortlisted for the 2021 Nursing Times Awards!

The finalists were announced last night (22 July), and four of our teams found out they were shortlisted for the prestigious awards.

The categories and projects the Trust has been shortlisted for are:

Cancer nursing category
Introduction of Macmillan support worker role

Infection prevention and control category
Protecting our staff: Covid-19 testing for those who cannot travel

Nursing in mental health category
Addressing the mental health mortality gap through collaborative education (joint nomination with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust)

Surgical nursing category
Enhanced cancer skills for surgical nurses programme

Our finalists will find out if they’ve won at the awards ceremony taking place on 27 October.
