Professional profile

Dr Alya Abdul-Wahab works as a consultant dermatologist at St George’s NHS Foundation Trust and is the lead for the paediatric dermatology service.

Dr Alya Abdul-Wahab qualified in 1994 from St Georges’ Hospital Medical School and undertook specialist dermatology training at St John’s Institute of Dermatology in London. She also spent 3 years in research on clinical trials for inherited skin disorders culminating in an MD awarded by Kings College London in Genetics and Molecular Medicine.

Member of the British Association of Dermatology, British Society of Paediatric Dermatology, Royal College of Physicians and the Royal Society of Medicine.
