St George’s staff have been featured in posters and campaign materials which are being shared across the country to support the launch of the Covid-19 vaccination programme this week.

Staff from across the Trust were photographed for Public Health England at St George’s Hospital last week, ahead of the Trust being announced as one of 50 vaccination hubs.

Robert Bleasdale, Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Infection, Prevention and Control, at St George’s is among 20 members of staff who are featured in the posters and social media images created to support the roll-out of the vaccine.

Thank you to all our staff who volunteered to support the campaign, and everyone who has been working hard to prepare for the first vaccinations happening tomorrow (Tuesday 8 December).

People aged 80 and over as well as care home workers will be the first to receive the jab at St George’s, along with NHS staff who are at higher risk.
