St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust put its weight behind two important public health campaigns this week. No Smoking Day took place on Wednesday 10th March and staff, patients and the public who are interested in quitting were encouraged to visit a drop-in stand in the hospital’s main entrance for advice and support.

The Trust celebrated World Kidney Day on Thursday 11th March by holding an event to acknowledge the kidney donors who made donations over the past five years and to raise the profile of kidney donations. Blood pressure checks and advice on diabetes and blood pressure management were also available throughout the day.
