Ann Radmore, chief executive of NHS South West London, officially opened St George’s Hospital’s Acute Medicine Unit on Thursday, 20thDecember.

Jane Evans, lead consultant for acute medicine, said: “We aim to provide a high-quality service to patients with acute medical problems and work hard to ensure that they are managed in the correct setting. Our team adopt a truly multi-disciplinary approach to all our patients which ensures they receive a holistic assessment and reduces waiting times for treatment and therapies.”
