She has experience of working at several large NHS trusts including Bournewood Community and Mental Health Services NHS Trust, Queen Elizabeth Hospital NHS Trust, Mayday Healthcare NHS Trust and East Surrey Hospitals NHS Trust. Sally has also worked in the private sector with an independent HR and organisational development consultancy.

Chief Executive David Astley said: “Sally has demonstrated a wide range of skills, gained from a variety of roles and organisations both inside and outside the NHS. She brings a wealth of experience in leadership and organisational development and strategic HR management to St George’s.”

Sally said: “It’s a great pleasure to have joined St George’s at such an exciting time. I am passionate about the quality of clinical services, and believe that a high performing HR team directly contributes to improved patient care. My work in other Trusts on improving the patient experience has given me insight into the complex inter-relationship between staff and patient satisfaction.”
