Rosie gets her St George’s dog-umentation!
Many of you will have seen Rosie, our resident pets as therapy dog, out and about at St George’s over the past few months.
Last week she received a specially made Trust ID badge, from our Estates and Facilities team, as well as a Values Award for her and her owner Dave Woodruff, who works as a Project Manager at the Trust.
Jenni Doman, Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities, presented Rosie with her badge and Values Award last Friday.
Dave and Rosie have been regularly visiting wards across St George’s over the last few months, helping to brighten up the day for both staff and patients.
The team on Cardiothoracic Intensive Care nominated Dave and Rosie for a Values Award. They wrote: “The presence of Rosie and her owner Dave does more to restore humanity than we could ever hope to achieve on our own.
“Both Rosie and her owner Dave are truly exceptional and follow the Trust Values in all they do for our patients.”
Well done and thank you to Rosie and Dave!
