An exciting new opportunity has been created for an Associate Governor (Young People) at St George’s University NHS Foundation Trust.

The Associate Governor (Young People) will be mentored to learn about governance through shadowing members of the Council of Governors, develop their  collaboration and public speaking skills and will also have a key role in promoting membership of the Trust among 16-25 year olds, who are currently under-represented.  Find out more about becoming a Governor here.

The Trust is holding elections to its Council of Governors to represent the views of our members and the public in Merton, South West Lambeth and the Rest of England.

If you would like to learn more about how the process works, and the important role that you could play as a governor, an information session is being held via MS Teams on Wednesday 27 November from 5pm-5.45pm. You can sign up for the session by emailing members@stgeorges.nhs.uk or read more here.
