Last Friday (21 June) saw the return of the NHS Big Tea at St George’s!

The Big Tea was held last year to celebrate the NHS’ 70th birthday, and St George’s Hospital Charity were keen to bring together Trust staff, patients and the public to mark the birthday once again.

Along with fund raising and information stands, there was free cake and hot drinks on offer, as well as performances from a number of local musicians.

A total of £838.34 was raised, with the funds going to our Renal department.

Thanks to all who came along to support the Big Tea, and of course thank you to St George’s Hospital Charity.

We’re also grateful to Peabodys Coffee, Mitie, St George’s, University of London and Marks & Spencer’s for supporting the Big Tea.
