Newly refurbished x-ray room in ED
We are delighted to announce that the refurbishment of our x-ray room in the emergency department (ED) at St George’s has been completed.
The upgrade (pictured left) includes a new waiting area for beds; a new control room for radiographers; a new reporting room; and state-of-the-art equipment.
Ian Stark, Superintendent Radiographer for ED, said: “This transformation will be very beneficial to both staff and patients. It will allow us to see patients coming from ED quicker, and in a safer way which will reduce waiting times.”
