New episode of 24 Hours in A&E: In the Line of Duty…
The RTS award-winning documentary series returns for a fifteenth series following patients treated in the same 24 hour period at St George’s in south west London.
The hospital has one of the busiest A&E departments in Britain – under more pressure than ever. It’s a place where stories of life, love and loss unfold every day.
This episode focuses on the lengths the staff go to in the line of duty.
Christie, a 25 year old psychiatric nurse (pictured), is rushed to St George’s resus with severe burns after being attacked by a patient.
Joe, 23, is brought in after being accidentally stabbed in the thigh by his cousin.
Two-year-old Freddie is treated for a sore eye.
Tune in tonight (Wednesday 8 August) at 9pm on Channel 4.
