Patient services on Wednesday 10th February 2016
As you are aware the British Medical Association (BMA) announced that their junior doctor members were prepared to take part in strike in relation to their proposed new contracts.
The next proposed date for industrial action is a 24 hour strike:
Wednesday 10th February from 8:00 to Thursday 11th February 8:00 (emergency care only)
St George’s overriding concern and obligation is to provide high quality and safe care to patients during this time. We are, as you would expect, taking the appropriate measures to ensure that services and the quality of patient care we provide are not compromised.
If there are changes to an appointment that you have arranged at our hospitals on a day of action, we will contact you. If you do not hear from us, please assume your appointment remains unchanged.
