The new Staff Governor elections have begun, with only a week left to get your vote in. Deadline closes on Monday 18th November for staff nominations.

The process of becoming a Foundation Trust at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust means we will have a Council of Governors, representing both public and staff. The role of the council will be to account for the performance of the Board of Directors and represent the interests of the members as a whole and the interests of the public.

Staff member nominations have been running since 9th September and are due to end on Monday 18th November at 5pm.

Staff members are divided into classes that represent professional groupings and a council member will be nominated from each category. The categories include medical and dental staff, nursing and midwifery, community services, allied health professionals and non-clinical staff.
