Global IT outage: please use NHS 111
We are aware of the global IT outage which is affecting some NHS and GP services.
Advice for the public:
- Access NHS 111 online or call NHS 111 if you have a non-urgent health concern so you can be advised the best place to access the healthcare you require. Our emergency departments remain open to care for people in an emergency.
- Demand for healthcare services increases during hot weather periods so as the temperature rises, please look after yourselves by staying hydrated, using SPF, keeping out of direct sun during the hottest parts of the day and wearing a hat. Please do check in on elderly and vulnerable family and friends too.
- Continue to attend your appointments as usual, unless you are contacted directly.
- Please be aware that you might have to wait longer than usual.
