Further sponsors revealed as grateful mum urges public to nominate ‘extraordinary staff’ for 2025 gesh CARE awards
Extraordinary NHS staff at St George’s, Epsom and St Helier hospitals, and in our surrounding community services, will be celebrated once again at the 2025 gesh CARE Awards – thanks to the generous support of local businesses.
Their backing ensures that the awards are entirely funded, with not a penny of NHS money spent.
Alongside headline sponsor The Pelican Hotel and Residence, and our NHS charities St George’s Hospital Charity and Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Charity, we are pleased to announce our other sponsors.
Hanevo returns this year to sponsor the Collaboration and Partnership Category, continuing its commitment to recognising the power of teamwork across our services.
New to the CARE Awards in 2025, Russell Cawberry sponsors the Empowered and Engaged Staff Category. Robert Layzell, Business Development Manager said: “We are excited to be supporting the incredible staff across gesh, but it makes it even more special that our category also recognises the brilliant volunteers who give their time to make a difference.”
Also joining us for the first time is innovative jelly and dessert brand Wibble Foods, sponsoring our drinks reception. Wibble is keen to give back and thank our NHS, adding a sweet touch to the celebrations.
Completing the line-up is Keystream Group, returning once again to sponsor the Outstanding CARE Award. This is the only award nominated entirely by the public, and Keystream is proud to champion the teams that care for us day in and day out.
It is this award that inspired mum of two, Manju Pillai, to share her story. Manju spent weeks gravely unwell in intensive care at St Helier Hospital and has hailed the teams that saved her life as “world class”.
“To those who cared for me – on behalf of my entire family, thank you from the depths of our hearts.
“I would encourage everyone who has been touched by the kindness or expertise of an NHS professional to take a moment to nominate them – it means so much for staff to know the difference they’ve made.”
Public nominations for the Outstanding CARE Award are open until 3 October. To nominate an NHS staff member or team, visit Outstanding CARE award 2025.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, the CARE Awards are a chance for us to recognise the incredible work of our staff and volunteers. Quite simply, we couldn’t do it without their support – thank you.
