Council Chief Executive visits Children’s services at St George’s
We recently welcomed the new Chief Executive of Wandsworth and Richmond Councils, Mike Jackson, to St George’s.
He has an interest in how the council and our hospital work together to provide health and social care services, and was keen to learn more about our facilities and the expertise the Trust offers.
He was taken on a tour of our paediatric department by our Managing Director, Kate Slemeck, to find out more about our outstanding rated children’s services, and the care we provide to our youngest patients. The tour included a visit to our PICU unit, our maternity and neonatal department, and also Pinckney Ward, to learn more about our paediatric oncology service that we provide for cancer patients and their families.
