The RTS award-winning documentary series is back with its fifteenth series following patients treated in the same 24 hour period at St George’s in south west London. The hospital has one of the busiest A&E departments in Britain. It’s a place where stories of life, love and loss unfold every day.

This episode – Born to be Wild – focuses on the chances people take in life and whether a gamble ever pays off.

Megan, 20, is rushed to St George’s after being involved in a high speed car accident. As doctors work to assess her injuries, we hear how her hedonistic lifestyle has put her at risk.

78 year old James is transferred from his local hospital after doctors suspect he has internal bleeding and 40 year old Jibraeel has lodged a cotton bud in his ear.

Tune in tonight (Wednesday 23 May) at 9pm on Channel 4.
