The RTS award-winning documentary series returns for a fifteenth series following patients treated in the same 24 hour period at St George’s in south west London.

The hospital has one of the busiest A&E departments in Britain – under more pressure than ever.  It’s a place where stories of life, love and loss unfold every day.

This episode focuses on the emotional support offered to patients by their loved ones.

Richard, 47, arrives at St George’s after falling 10 foot off a ladder while fixing his roof at home.

87 year old Doreen is brought to resus suffering from a serious infection.

Cojo, 5, comes to paediatric A&E with his Dad after injuring his elbow play-fighting with his brother.

Tune in tonight (Wednesday 18 July) at 9pm on Channel 4.
