Professional profile
Masha Singh is currently a full time NHS consultant with a special interest in hand surgery and skin cancer care. He qualified in 2006, obtaining his MBBS as well as a BSc in Biochemistry and Immunology, awarded with honours. He subsequently went on to formally complete a full-time Masters degree in Surgical Science, awarded with Distinction by Imperial College London for his work on Microsurgical Training. He has gone on to obtain his FRCS(Plast) qualification and fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Masha Singh spent his surgical training years across units throughout the UK, including Basingstoke, Leeds, Bradford, East Grinstead, Chelsea and Westminster and the Royal Marsden Hospital. He completed his plastic surgery training in London and is a fully qualified Plastic Surgeon on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery.
He has published many original articles, as well as authoring and contributing to book chapters and has a strong interest in surgical education. He is the current Chairman of SETPRAS (Society for Education and Training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery) and has been since 2011. He has also presented numerous times both nationally and internationally, including at the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) and the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) scientific meetings.
