Dr Kabra is a Consultant Interventional and Diagnostic and Neuroradiologist based at the Atkinson Morley Neurosciences Centre at St George's Hospital. She specialises in the treatment of neurovascular diseases of the brain and spine including treatment for acute stroke (mechanical thrombectomy), acute and elective aneurysm treatment, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), dural arteriovenous fistulae (dAVFs), tumour embolization and vasospasm treatment. She also has expertise in adult diagnostic neuroimaging with a specific interest in neurovascular disease.
Dr Kabra obtained her MBBS (BSc) from King’s College London in 2004. She undertook postgraduate surgical training at Barts’ NHS Trust obtaining her MRCS in 2006. She trained in Clinical Radiology at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) from 2008 -2011 as a registrar. Between 2012-2013 she undertook the Pan-London Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology sub-speciality rotation at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Imperial Hospitals and King’s College Hospital. Prior to consultancy she undertook a two-year Interventional Neuroradiology fellowship at NIISwa in Perth, Australia. She was appointed as a Consultant Neuroradiologist at St George's Hospital in March 2016.
