St George’s supports Keep You Safe campaign
Staff at St George’s have contributed to a short film to help reassure patients and members of the public that we will Keep You Safe when accessing healthcare.
If you are coming to St George’s or Queen Mary’s Hospital for treatment, we will keep you safe, and our teams have put a range of measures in place to keep everyone safe, and to help put your mind at ease.
Watch the short film above featuring Miss Shami Umarji, Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon, talking about the measures we ask patients and staff to follow – including pre-operative Coronavirus testing, regular hand-washing, and social distancing when in our hospitals.
The short film also features local GP Dr Owen Carter talking about similar steps being taken in GP surgeries to minimise the risk of infection.
