Professor Asma Khalil has been listed in the Evening Standard’s Progress 1000 list for the second year.

The prestigious Evening Standard Progress 1000 list is made up of the top 1000 most influential people in London and is separated into various categories.

Professor Khalil, who is listed as one of 22 people within the health category, was selected for her expertise in ‘high risk pregnancies, multiple births and intervening in the womb when a baby is at risk of growth problems’.

Professor Khalil has featured in the Evening Standard for delivering the first set of quadruplets at St George’s in 13 years in June 2018 and developing an app for pregnant women with high blood pressure to monitor their condition at home.

Professor Khalil, who is a Consultant Obstetrician and Multiple Birth Lead at St George’s, said: “I am very honoured and delighted to receive this prestigious recognition. It reflects the success and achievements of our team at St George’s and I am determined that we continue our efforts to deliver the best care to our patients.”
