Key information for patients about the Covid-19 vaccine

The Covid-19 vaccine is safe and effective. It gives you the best protection against the virus. Our clinic at St George’s is offering the vaccine to all eligible groups – more information on who is eligible can be found on the NHS website.

Eligible people can book an appointment for their first dose at the St George’s Covid-19 vaccine clinic via the NHS national booking system, which you can access here.

For more information on our clinic, including opening hours, please visit our website here.

The Covid-19 vaccine clinic at St George’s is located on the ground floor of Atkinson Morley wing, in the Cardiac outpatients department.

Please note: our vaccine clinic team will endeavour to see everyone at their allotted appointment time, but please be patient when waiting for your vaccine. We also advise that you bring a bottle of water just in case you are asked to wait.

The vaccine will be offered more widely, and at other locations, as soon as possible. The order in which people will be offered the vaccine is based on advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).

Meanwhile, we must all continue to adhere to the Covid-19 restrictions and remember hands, face, space – please visit the website for more information on the national guidelines.
