Improving neurorehabilitation in south west London

Thank you to everybody who responded to our public consultation Improving neurorehabilitation services in southwest London.

We met with a number of groups during the consultation and received 167 formal responses from staff, patients, patient representative groups, health partners and local stakeholders, with a lot of support for our proposals to relocate services based at the Wolfson Neurorehabilitation Centre. The feedback we have received has reinforced our view that these changes are very important for improving the health of our patients.

Issues about the transfer of services and the impact on other services based at St George’s and Queen Mary’s Hospitals prompted some very important questions that we have considered in changing some of our original proposals.
