Grade 2 (Amber)
Mild and either self-limited or controlled by conservative measures.

Grade 3 (Red)
Uncontrollable haemorrhage
Advice
If haemodynamically unstable and/or large volume blood loss – consider 999.
If bleeding uncontrolled but haemodynamically stable, arrange URGENT referral to the Emergency Department in any case.
