Whooping Cough (Pertussis)

To protect your baby from Whooping Cough you will be offered a Whooping Cough vaccination following your 20 – 22 week anomaly scan.

This programme has been in place since 2012 & is highly effective at protecting babies until they are eligible for their first vaccine at two months of age.

Please consult your Midwife for further information.

You can have your Whooping Cough vaccination following your 20-22 anomaly scan at one of our Maternal Vaccination Clinics:
