Chief executive blog sheds a light on inner workings of St George's Healthcare

Date of issue: Friday 22nd June 2012

Miles Scott, chief executive, has launched a new blog on the St George's Healthcare website to give our staff, patients, members and stakeholders more of an insight into how the trust works.

In his first blog Miles talks about the hard work across the trust to continually improve patient’s experience whilst they are under the care of the trust. You can read the blog on at www.stgeorges.nhs.uk/mediaceoblog.asp?post=putting-patients-first.

Speaking about his blog, Miles said:

“I hope to be able to shine a light on why and how decisions are made about the future of the trust as well as celebrating our achievements and explaining what we are doing to improve things that we feel could be done better, and putting some of the issues making the headlines into a more local context.”

People can give their feedback and let Miles know if there is anything they would particularly like to hear about by using the feedback form below each blog or by emailing communications@stgeorges.nhs.uk

A feed of Miles' blog that can be used on your own website is available by using the RSS subscription button at the top of the webpage.
