Spring issue Membership Matters out now

Date of issue: Wednesday 4th May 2011

The spring issue of Membership Matters, the quarterly publication for St George’s Healthcare NHS Trust’s members, is out now.

The latest issue contains information about the trust’s foundation trust plans, its corporate social responsibility framework, a report on the benefits to patients of hourly ward rounding and a feature about how organ donation saves lives. Membership Matters also includes information about future member events which are free to attend and cover a range of subjects including keeping your brain healthy and vaccines – facts and myths.

Wilfred Carneiro, foundation trust membership manager said: “Membership Matters is just one example of how we are engaging with our members. Membership numbers are very encouraging with over 4,300 public and patient members now signed up. Added to this are the 7,000 members of staff who automatically joined in February 2011.”
