Queen Mary's Hospital is a large state-of-the-art community hospital in Roehampton.
The four-storey building contains all the modern equipment needed to offer the local population and its patients from around the world the latest treatment techniques.
Queen Mary’s provides outpatient rapid diagnostic and treatment facilities, day surgery, a minor injuries unit, burns dressing clinic, limb fitting services, a sexual health clinic, 50 elderly and intermediate care beds and 20 amputee and neurorehabilitation beds. Coming to hospital can be daunting and confusing and Queen Mary's is a big place. There are signposts all over the hospital to help you find where you want to go but please do not think twice about asking a member of staff for help, they will be more than happy to point you in the right direction.
All parts of Queen Mary's have good access for patients and visitors in wheelchairs or with mobility problems.If you need assistance, please ask at the reception on your arrival. Disabled access toilet facilities are widely available in the hospital.
For patients with hearing impairments, there is a hearing loop system in the hospital. Please switch your hearing aid to the 'T' position upon arrival.
If you need an interpreter or a BSL interpreter, please call the clinic you are coming to before you come in so we can try and arrange this for you. You can find the contact details for the clinic on the services page.
Assistance dogs are welcome at Queen Mary's.
The Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) can arrange for a chaperone (member of staff) to be present in your appointment, and in many cases can also arrange for you to treated by a same gender clinician. Read more on the PALS service.
Breast feeding and baby changing facilities are available. Please ask at reception.
There is a cashpoint machine in the ground floor foyer, and another opposite the hospital on Roehampton Lane.
