Foundation trust

Become a member

We need our patients, local community and members of staff to become members of our foundation trust. This will help us to ensure we meet the needs of our patients and local communities.

By becoming a member of the foundation trust you will be in a position to help make decisions that will impact on the development of the trust's services. Members will also be entitled to elect and stand for election to the council of governors , and help to shape the long-term future of the trust.

We realise members will want to be involved in different ways and it is entirely up to you how involved you choose to be, from just receiving regular information about the trust to standing for election to the council of governors.

Who can be a member?

Membership is free and open to anyone aged 16 and over.

Staff members

Age

There is a minimum age limit of 16 years to become a member and 21 years to stand for elections to the council of governors.
